I slept with the window open last night and it was cold and rainy and woke up this morning with a sore throat again although I can sort of feel a cold coming on this time. Either way I'm not hitting the docs again just cost too much money the last time to deal with it. Luckily I have this massive stash of tea now in variety packs so I can just close my eyes and dig one out to drink. Earl grey and english tea time taste suspiciously similar by the way. Glad I didn't grab the vanilla that would have been just too sweet tonight. So I have poor folk insurance here. My monthly copay while employed drifted around $60. So I paid. I paid for 2 months after leaving and I followed their instructions for informing them of changes in employment and education and what not.
So I get the third bill this month. First bill was for $60. I paid that. Second bill was for $4 with a $56 credit. And now I got this bill with a $112 credit and $4 removed for next month. I have in the last two weeks recieved no less than 5 letters from them including the bills. I have got a letter saying that I will recieve a letter. The other letter was with the original that same day by the way.
The neighbor kids have decided that my fence is part of their property as well. Apparantly the spread of crap is genetic. The neighbor guy just put up his kennel pieces leaning up against my fence perpendicular. I'm not sure if I posted the pictures in here. Ticked me right off since my fence is 6 inches on my property line. And now I have their dog 1 foot away from my driveway barking at me and my dog every stupid time I open my door.
Yesterday I noticed that the children are now leaning their bikes and crap against my fence since they can't park them in teh back yard. One of these nights the bikes will either vanish or mysteriously get moved from there through my yard and tossed back into their on the other side of their fence.
And one of these days when I have an extra 5 minutes I'm calling zoning to find out what exactly I should do.
In the meantime I taunted that damn dog trying to get it to stick its head under my fence today and get stuck and I fully intended to photograph that and then possibly leave it there. I'm sorry but you don't get a dog that needs boundries and then not train it. What a waste. The dog is pretty. Has potential and is there.
My mom and I are trying to fix the chair we got from my gramma. Or I got. It's not especially old and has been reupholstered in the past. The springs are in there weird and have dislodged from how they were in the straps and the straps are falling off. I'm done dealing with straps and springs in general. I'm putting some wood on and gutting the innards of the chair and putting a healthy bit of foam in there since the cushion is still good it doesn't really matter what is on the inside. The store ran out of foam but should have it in tomorrow so in theory tomorrow the chair will be fixed.
I'm saving the springs in the event that I ever want to go back to them. I think they were fundementally put back together wrong. There's nothing connnecting the springs to each other.
So yeah. I started a new cross stich that I picked up for cheap at the craft store today. I'm doing the background first or at least a good chunk of it since a lot of it is background. And the background was in the middle where I started so I figured what the hell. It's less counting to put the other stuff in.
It's not big. I made sure. Didn't want a repeat of the the butterfly 10x10 cross stich from that other year. I cursed that one. I finished it but oh did it suck getting there.
