I've been cleaning like mad the last couple days. It's going to be too hot next weekend to get anything done. I got a bug up my butt to start it this weekend. Did some serious floor cleaning and counter cleaning. And tonight I cleaned the walls and doors in the entry way. Looks all shiney now. The birds and squirrels have found my bird feeder. I see birds there on and off. The squirrels chewed the thing that it hung from off so I had to put a wire loop in there and put that up on the hook. Then the squirrels went down the feeder and chewed off one of the sticks for the birds to stand on. I've got some nasty squirrels here. THey chewed on my garbage can too.
I only have one more kitchen chair to re do now. I could have powered through that project all at once but figured I'd just streach it out to get maximum enjoyment out of my drill and staple gun. One more to go and I'm going to have more than enough fabric for it. Then I'm going to be without a project to use the drill and staple gun for. I need to redo the computer chair but that is going to be a beast of a project by no streach of the imagination.
My advisor is trying to find out who my supervisor is going to be for the field placement this coming week because she's going to be gone for a week on vacation and I think she really wants me to get that code together for registering for that class. Then I can go back and figure out my hours for there. THen I'm done officially until I buy my text books next month. I'm not going to order them this first time around. I'm going to go to the book store and buy them at the college. The don't hand out the ISBN's at this school so it's kind of a pain in the butt to find them on amazon. I'll get a feel for how thoroughly they are used and if I need to for sure have the right edition this semester.
Target is getting rid of its summer stuff and back to school stuff is coming out. I think this time around I'm going to take notes in those little half notebooks. Or at least test drive it the first semester. I think I'll be better organized notewise that way. I tend to take messy notes in normal sized ones. I'll bring a normal sized one incase I need it to hand a piece of paper or something but other wise I want to do half sheets.
I need to remember to buy highlighters too. I used them up last time in school.
I'm using the same back pack until this one dies. End of story. I don't do change well when it comes to back packs.
I have more than enough writing utensils as well.
Just need a pack of highlighters, a printer cartridge (maybe) and a couple notebooks. I might get a pack of paper clips and a pack of those report covers if I can find the ones I don't have to punch holes with.
